Auto Re-list
A function where a person listing an item for sale can choose to have their item automatically list again if it does not sell. There is no charge for this option.
Bid Increments
The bid increment is the amount by which a bid will be raised each time the current bid is outdone.
Bidder
A registered user who bids on an item.
Bold Feature
This feature adds instant emphasis to your listing letting it stand out so bidders can easily see your listing over regular listing. Bold Feature is an optional feature; there is a $1.00 fee for this feature.
Buy It Now
This is a listing feature that lets a buyer purchase an item immediately at the price that the seller has set. This feature is used in the auction and Fixed Price listings.

Categories
List of items of alike
This feature will show your item in the Category Feature section which is above the other listing of the same category. Category Feature is an optional feature, there is a $10.00 fee for this feature.
A short advertisement that appears along with other ads of the same type, generally dealing with offers or request for merchandise, employment, property, and the like. This is very similar to newspaper classified ads.
Feedback
Information supplied by a user in reference to the service(s) given by another user. Sellers rate the buyer and the buyer rates the seller for each transaction.
Feedback Score
The sum of all feedback given (Positive +1, Neutral 0, Negative -1)
Final Sale Fee
The percentage of the selling price of an item that is charged to the user in exchange for the services provided and ability to post an item for sale. There is no final sale fee if an item does not sell. There are no final sale fee in classified ads.
A Fixed Price listing does not allow bidding. The seller specifies the only acceptable price for the item(s). Because there is no bidding on fixed priced listings, all items are for immediate purchase.
Gallery Feature
This feature will show your item in the Gallery Featured Items section. Gallery Feature is an optional feature; there is a $15.00 fee for this feature.
Highlight Feature
This feature emphasizes your listing. Your listing will defiantly be attention-grabbing! It will catch the eye of all buyers. Highlight Feature is an optional feature; there is a $3.00 fee for this feature.
Home Page Feature
This feature will have your listing, along with other Home Page Feature listings, randomly selected to be displayed on the home page. Home Page Feature is an optional feature; there is a $20.00 fee for this feature.
Insertion Fee
A fee charged when you list an item for any type of listing. The only exception is for employment ads, which there are no fees. There are no insertion fees in the classified ads that are free.
Members
Registered buyers and sellers are members. Members are given a user ID at time of registration. You do not have to be a member to search but you do have to be a member to buy or sell. There are no fees for becoming a registered member.
Password
When registering, you will be asked to create a password to enter your on-line account. This is very important; this is to keep your identity secure, not allowing anyone else to access your account. This is really an important task in order to protect your password from falling into the wrong hands.

Proxy Bidding
An automatic method of bidding that increases your bid to the next lowest price when another user bids on the same item. Your bid is increased until your maximum bid amount is reached or the auction ends.
Relisting
If an item does not sell the first time it is listed, the seller can relist it automatically up to three times.
The Reserve price is the absolute minimum dollar amount the Seller will accept for an item. Buyers are notified after placing their bid if it is below the Reserve price. If a Buyer's maximum bid is greater than the Reserve price, the Reserve is automatically met and that user is the high bidder. The ability to set a Reserve price is only available thru traditional auctions. The reserve minimum dollar amount is hidden for the bidders until it has been met.

Shill Bidding
Bidding that artificially increases the price of an item. Shill bidding is prohibited.
Starting Price
The price that the seller as set for the starting price of an auction item.
Terms and Conditions
The rules of site usage and operation. All registered members must agree to these terms and conditions before they can buy or sell on rhodesmarket.com.
Trade Ad
A short advertisement offering a commodity in exchange for another commodity without payment of money OR to give a commodity as payment to be credited toward a higher purchase.
User ID
A User ID is used to identify you on our website. It is also how you will be recognized by other Buyers and Sellers. Now some people really get imaginative in doing this and come up with a spiffy little name, but this can be something just really simple.
